1954 KAISER DARRIN

In 2006, we received a very clean top to reproduce for a 1954 Kaiser-Darrin, which was soon to be on display at the Harold LeMay Museum in Tacoma, WA. In 2009, we received several other very clean original tops to reproduce. The first top was a Black top (3 windows) and side curtains. The second top was what appeared to be a White over white top with 3 windows, but turned out to be severely faded (with little shrinkage) Pine tint green over green double coated vinyl (coated on the inside as well). The third top was definitely White over black but had a zippered center window - no side windows - with a metal window ring and glass. All 3 tops were dimensionally identical ( including snap placement) except for the rear quarter windows.

We can offer the following items:

• Convertible top - with 3 sewn in windows (as original). INCLUDES - Wireon trim, (3) center straps for snap studs plus (2) smaller side straps

• Convertible top - with 1 zippered double solid center rear window (for glass window and frame). INCLUDED - Wireon trim, (3) center straps for snap studs plus (2) smaller side straps

• Side curtains (pair) - zippered , to be snapped to the interior side reinforcements
