When sending in
material or leather for perforating
We must trim certain areas in order
for the sides to go through the machine cleanly. If we receive full hides, we
fold them in half & split them from butt to neck. We trim off the belly or
leg areas to make the sides lay flat. Generally, these areas may not be suitable
for production due to scars, manure burns or other physical defects or
properties. Untrimmed, these areas are normally wasted during perforating due to
fold-overs. The sides must lay flat when being processed. We cannot be held
liable for damage caused to your materials due to areas which did not lay flat & fold over upon itself when
passing through our machinery.
We charge for splitting & trimming. Being familiar with seat manufacturing
requirements, we try not to trim off more than is necessary. If your project
requires certain large dimensions, please split & trim the hides prior to
shipment for perforating. If it does not lay FLAT at the outer edges it may not
perforate cleanly.

PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATIONS -
Most materials will be designed to accommodate the physical
changes caused by perforating. Check with your supplier to
ensure that your materials will meet the required specifications
for your project after perforation. We can meet all automotive
or aircraft specifications when supplied with true automotive
hides and specification sheets
in advance

NORMAL TURNAROUND FOR POPULAR PATTERNS IS WITHIN 24-72 HOURS WHEN
THE REQUIRED TOOL IS IN A MACHINE - DEPENDING ON QUANTITY TO BE
PROCESSED AND ORDERS IN HOUSE AHEAD OF YOURS. WE AMASS ORDERS PER
PATTERN TO ELIMINATE THE NEED TO CHARGE A SETUP FEE. IF THE ORDER
IS NOT A RUSH ORDER, YOUR ORDER WILL BE PROCESSED THE VERY NEXT TIME
THE TOOL IS INSTALLED AND YOU WILL NOT BE CHARGED THE SETUP
FEE.

(3) SPLIT + TRIM FEE - $10. PER HIDE or $5. PER SIDE TO SPLIT OR
TRIM FOR PROCESSING, IF NEEDED. CUTOFFS WILL BE RETURNED |
