  • Due to issues related to the past pandemic and volatility in the petroleum markets - prices are subject to change without prior notification. We reserve the right to pass along any increase or impact fees which we receive from our vendors.

  • Due to NYS sales tax regulations, we are required to have valid sales tax certificates on file for any order we ship within NYS or we must collect NYS taxes at the rate in effect at time of sale - shipping charges are also taxed. Your NYS county rate may be different. We are required to have your valid sales tax certificate on file if you are legally liable to collect NYS sales taxes in New York State or if your state has reciprocal tax collection agreements with New York State.

  • All soft items are MADE-TO ORDER. Orders must be paid before production begins.

    CREDIT CARDS - We accept most major credit/debit cards - Visa, MasterCard, Discover. We do not accept Amex. NO COD’s.

    New pricing goes into effect March 1st, 2024. All order forms have dates at the bottom with current pricing. Eventually all will be changed.

    Any form with pricing prior to 2/28/24 has old pricing.

    1) On occasion, HAARTZ colors or materials may be temporarily out of stock due to production/delivery delays. We will continue to re-order these colors to meet our customers requirements. We sincerely regret the inconvenience of material shortages caused by economic conditions which are beyond our control.

    2) ALL CARRIERS HAVE CHANGED METHODS OF CALCULATING SHIPPING CHARGES TO DIMENSIONAL vs ACTUAL WEIGHT. SHIPPING CHARGES WILL BE BILLED SEPARATELY A FEW DAYS BEFORE SHIPMENT.

    Virtually all materials used to manufacture convertible tops and related parts are petroleum based, or impacted by unstable petroleum prices. Other variables impact the prices of our products including increases in utilities, insurance, etc.

    Due to the frequency of price increases we receive from our vendors, we must pass along these impact fees and cannot quickly change our order forms.

    BRASS AND PLATED PRODUCTS ARE ALWAYS SUBJECT TO SEVERE MARKET FLUCTUATIONS AND WILL BE QUOTED ACCORDINGLY.

    At the bottom of every order form is the last date the prices were modified. We may not be able to honor prices for certain items and will contact you with corrected pricing or we will immediately refund any payment in full should you choose to cancel - RETURN/CANCELLATION POLICY

    If shipped within New York State, residents are required to pay sales tax based on county of residence where delivered.

    Your order may be picked up at our facility in Walden, NY 12586.

    The current sales tax rate in Orange County is 8.125% .

    NYS sales tax will only be waived or refunded with valid, filled-in legible NYS sales tax & use form, plus a copy of your NYS sales tax certificate.

    All items are made to order FRESH - not old stock folded in a box on the shelf. Depending on seasonal demand, most orders will ship within 25-35 business days following receipt of payment.

    FOR NY State and all other customers -To receive a 3.5% discount on your order, the order must be pre-paid by :

    1.         NYS customers - We do not profit on collecting New York Sales tax and do not wish to absorb 3.50% of tax collected to bank fees for credit cards.

    2.       Certified check / money order (no additional fees)

    3.       We accept payment by ZELLE (currently no fees)

    4.       Wire transfer to our bank (must include $25 transfer fee)

 
REFUNDS / CANCELLATIONS

PLEASE CONFIRM PRICES, AVAILABILITY+SHIPPING COSTS BEFORE ORDERING

We are the manufacturer, not a distributor.

WE DO NOT CHARGE IN ADVANCE FOR ANY ORDER REQUIRING MATERIAL FOR WHICH WE HAVE NO FIRM DELIVERY DATE. WE WILL KEEP YOUR PLACE IN LINE AND YOUR ORDER WILL BE GIVEN PREFERENCE UPON DELIVERY OF MATERIAL REQUIRED. WE WILL CALL YOU WHEN THE MATERIAL ARRIVES AND YOU WILL CONFIRM THAT YOU STILL WANT THE PART - WE WILL THEN ACCEPT THE ORDER AND PAYMENT.

DUE TO CURRENT TERMS OF CREDIT CARD PROCESSORS, GATEWAY FEES ARE NO LONGER REFUNDED WHEN PROCESSING A REFUND.
THIS IS NOT A "RESTOCKING FEE" - THESE CHARGES ARE LEVIED BY THE BANKS COMING IN / GOING OUT.
YOUR REFUND WILL BE LESS THAN THE ORIGINAL AMOUNT PAID ON YOUR ORDER BY PROCESSING FEES WE ARE CHARGED.
WE WILL ABSORB THIS FEE ONLY WHEN THE ERROR WAS ON OUR PART. WE WILL NOT ABSORB THESE FEES FOR:

 1) "BUYERS REMORSE"

2) CANCELATION DUE TO DELIVERY DELAYS BEYOND OUR CONTROL
3) SHIPPING CHARGES IN EXCESS OF THE VALUE OF A SMALL ORDER
4) CANNOT FIND AN QUALIFIED OR AFFORDABLE INSTALLER
5) OTHER CONDITIONS REQUESTED BY THE PURCHASER

DUE TO THE PANDEMIC AND RELATED LINGERING ISSUES, OUR PRODUCTION TIMES MIGHT BE DELAYED DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND OUR CONTROL.
AS ALWAYS WE WILL DO OUR BEST TO MAINTAIN EXPECTED SHIPPING DATES.
WE GREATLY APPRECIATE YOUR UNDERSTANDING DURING THESE DIFFICULT TIMES IMPACTING US ALL.

Change/cancellation/refund requests must be made by email within 24 hrs - before yardage is cut or production has begun. We will refund your full payment

CANCELLATIONS AFTER 21 DAYS WILL RESULT IN RESTOCKING FEES OF UP TO 50%, DEPENDING ON MATERIAL AND PARTS ORDERED AND IN PROCESS. We will apply the credit amount (to your credit card) less original Bank gateway fees.

BANK GATEWAY TRANSACTION / CREDIT CARD PROCESSING FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

  • EXPORT SHIPMENTS -  For shipments by USPS Airmail, FedEx or UPS. Shipping fees include insurance and handling fees, but do not include local taxes, duties, brokerage fees, etc. which may be payable upon delivery
  • Examine your order immediately upon delivery - no claims for damaged items 24 hours after delivery. Damaged items are the responsibility of the carrier and must must be reported immediately AT TIME OF DELIVERY to the delivery person. SIGN FOR THE PACKAGE, NOTING THAT IT IS "DAMAGED" BUT DO NOT REFUSE A DAMAGED PACKAGE - CARRIERS WILL DISCARD ANY DAMAGED PACKAGE and DO NOT HONOR ANY CLAIM OR REIMBURSE FOR DAMAGED ITEMS WHICH HAVE BEEN REFUSED. WE WILL FILE THE CLAIM - YOU MUST SAVE THE ENTIRE SHIPMENT AND PACKAGING FOR THE CARRIER TO INSPECT.
  • Any undamaged item which has been refused and is subsequently damaged in the return handling will result in the COMPLETE LOSS and non-reimbursement of insured value and will be subject to additional shipping fees. NO REFUND POSSIBLE.
  • EXPORT ORDERS MUST BE PICKED UP QUICKLY. ANY ORDER WHICH SITS IN CUSTOMS DEPARTMENTS UNCLAIMED WILL BE RETURNED TO US WITH SHIPPING CHARGES BILLED TO OUR SHIPPERS ACCOUNT. RE-SHIPMENT OF SUCH ORDERS WILL RESULT IN NEW SHIPPING CHARGES PLUS ANY CHARGES BILLED TO OUR SHPPERS ACCOUNT.
  • NO REFUNDS ON ANY EXPORT SHIPMENT RETURNED BY FOREIGN CUSTOMS /POSTAL DEPARTMENTS FOR ANY REASON

  • Please inspect your order upon delivery - check year/ make/ model, etc.  In the event of error the item will be replaced.  If your order arrives damaged or is not as described, please notify us immediately so that we can arrange the return for replacement. Please handle clear vinyl windows carefully. Vinyl windows improperly handled, scratched or otherwise damage will not be credited back.

  • INSPECT CAREFULLY - We will not accept returns or claims for any incorrect item, marks or visible EXTERIOR flaws once installation has been started.

  • VISIBLE FLAWS PERTAIN TO EXTERIOR APPEARANCE ONLY. DUE TO CURRENT TOPPING CONSTRUCTION SPECIFICATIONS - NO CLAIM FOR MINOR INTERIOR (BACKING) FLAWS PER HAARTZ SUCH AS MINOR WEAVING,CHAFF,ETC.

  • NON-DEFECTIVE returns are subject to a minimum 20% restocking fee. All items are made to order. Customer is responsible for return shipping costs, with the exception of returns for manufacturing errors or defect. Returns billed to our shipping account will have the charges deducted from any refund.

  • Returns must be received back within 30 days of initial shipment. We will refund the purchase price (less shipping/restocking fees) once the item arrives back at the warehouse in its original condition. We pack all items to insure that they arrive safely. Retain all original packing materials for any item that is to be returned to us.

  • Please contact us for a return authorization number (RA#).  No returns will be accepted otherwise

  • Other than warranty returns - All returns must be in original packaging, unused and in resalable condition. Please handle clear vinyl windows carefully when folding for return with paper in between. See line #1

  • SIGNATURE REQUIRED – For your protection as well as ours, we require a signature at time of delivery. In the past we had claims of “item not received” and were told by our shippers (UPS, FedEx and USPS) that unless we require a signature at time of delivery, they can only prove they delivered the item and beyond that it is not their responsibility. Their position includes loss, theft or damage on all items they maintain were delivered in good shape. Without verification of receipt, credit card companies can proceed with a charge-back. Due to such policies, we no longer allow packages to be unsigned for "at the door/rear deck, etc" and must require all shipments to be signed for at time of delivery. We will ship your order without signature required solely at your risk only.

  • REFUSED or UNCLAIMED ITEMS (A) For your protection - Signature is required at time of delivery on all shipments, to insure that the package has been delivered safely and intact. Any unclaimed or refused item on which return shipping is billed to our account will have the return shipping charges deducted from any refund - see line #3.  UPS and FedEx do not honor claims for "lost" or "damaged" items when "SIGNATURE REQUIRED" is waived.

  • REFUSED or UNCLAIMED ITEMS (B) – Insurance on the initial shipment does not cover loss or damage to any unclaimed or refused items returned to us. Refused or unclaimed items which become lost or damaged during return to our facility may result in zero refund, depending on the shipping company’s (USPS, FedEx, UPS, etc) policy in effect at that time.

  • REFUSED OR UNCLAIMED EXPORT SHIPMENTS - EXPORT SHIPMENTS MUST BE PICKED UP QUICKLY. ANY ORDER WHICH SITS IN CUSTOMS DEPARTMENTS UNCLAIMED WILL BE RETURNED TO US WITH SHIPPING CHARGES BILLED TO OUR SHIPPERS ACCOUNT. RE-SHIPMENT OF SUCH ORDERS WILL RESULT IN NEW SHIPPING CHARGES PLUS ANY CHARGES BILLED TO OUR SHPPERS ACCOUNT. NO REFUNDS ON ANY EXPORT SHIPMENT RETURNED BY FOREIGN CUSTOMS /POSTAL DEPARTMENTS FOR ANY REASON

We guarantee that all ARO 2000 products are dimensionally equal & accurate to our proven paper patterns. All items are produced using automated cutting equipment which is calibrated every cutting shift & anytime cutting blades are changed. This guarantees the consistent quality our customers expect.

Many installation problems can be solved with a simple phone call. If a problem should arise, call while the installation is being performed - 845-778-2158

Due to the age of the vehicle & demand for replacement parts,  replacement items for certain pre 1981 models are made to order. Depending upon the model & material, we suggest offering your saleable parts online through car clubs, EBay, or other such outlets.

Special orders - colors, custom bound, non original style materials, etc are non returnable & cannot be cancelled once cut for production.

Otherwise they are non returnable. If cancelled after being cut for production - a service fee for material cost only (minimum 50 %) will be deducted from any refund.
